Los Angeles Times: From Broadway to Nashville

I had to get to West Hollywood so that I could see my girl Laura Bell Bundy perform at The Abbey. She is doing some promo appearances for the release of her new album Achin’ & Shakin’ (due out on April 13) and her first LA gig was last night.

Homegirl was FANTASTIC! Her performance was really cute, really fun and a total blast. Now that LBB is focusing on her music career (rather than her Broadway career), she has more time to perform live for her fans. The LA Times published a great piece on her here and is worth reading. It sounds like she is really making a go at doing the music thing! She’s a star no matter how you cut it, I’m certain she’ll do very well.
